Don't fear the cycles

Your Soul Doesn’t Repeat, It Spirals
We hear a lot about cycles in astrology.
The Saturn return.
The Mercury retrograde.
Those big, dramatic chapters we’re told to brace ourselves for.
What I’ve come to realise is that cycles don’t just repeat.
They spiral.
They build.
They carry everything you’ve already lived into a brand-new octave.
The lesson isn’t to keep walking in circles. The lesson is that, each time the cycle turns, you have the chance to embody what you’ve learnt so deeply that the next chapter writes a new story.

My Own Realisation
My current Venus cycle (2019–2027) has been enormous.
It ripped me open in love.
It stripped away illusions.
It showed me where I confused chaos for passion, and where I gave away my worth instead of owning it.
For the longest time, I thought: “Okay, lesson done. I survived that one.”
But Venus doesn’t just return to hand out a certificate of completion. She comes back to ask: “Now… what will you do with what you’ve learned?”
In 2027, Venus will return to the exact place she was when I was born. That doesn’t mean I’ll be tested again in the same way. It means a new cycle is forming — one that will build on everything I’ve uncovered since 2019.

The Spiral of Cycles
This isn’t just Venus.
It’s Saturn, Jupiter, all of them.
One cycle is about clearing — pulling weeds from the garden.
The next is about planting — sowing new seeds in fresh soil.
Another is about harvesting — finally reaping what you’ve been growing.
And then the spiral turns again. Not repeating. Not punishing. But deepening.
Each cycle isn’t a rerun of the last one.
It’s the same song, played at a higher frequency.
And where the planet sits in your chart, and what sign and house it occupies, gives the theme and character of that spiral.

How It Plays Out in My Chart
✨ Venus in Virgo, 3rd House of Communication
Every Venus cycle spirals around how I speak, connect, and express love in my everyday world. With Virgo here, the flavour is about discernment and truth in the small things. Each cycle refines how I communicate love, teaching me not to betray myself with over-analysis or self-criticism, but to ground my words in clarity, kindness, and sovereignty.
✨ Saturn in Sagittarius, 6th House of Work & Health
Saturn’s spirals show up in my body and routines. With Sagittarius here, the lesson isn’t just discipline — it’s aligning daily structure with a bigger philosophy. Living with MS has made these lessons unavoidable: Saturn keeps asking me to honour rest and boundaries while keeping faith in the bigger picture. Every cycle deepens my relationship with balance, service, and meaning.
✨ Jupiter in Aquarius, 8th House of Transformation
Jupiter expands me through intimacy, shared resources, and rebirth. In Aquarius, the spiral brings freedom, innovation, and collective healing into that process. Each cycle asks me to grow by releasing old attachments, embracing radical honesty, and reimagining intimacy as something liberating and alive.

Why It Matters
If your last cycle felt heavy, chaotic, or endless — please hear this:
the next one won’t be a copy-and-paste.
It will be the next layer.
That’s how the universe works with us.
Not in straight lines. Not in closed loops. But in spirals.
You’re not going backwards.
You’re not stuck on repeat.
You’re rising into the next octave of the same song.
Yes, the odd test will always appear — just to check you remember, just to ensure you remain sovereign to yourself. But once you’ve embodied the growth, once you’re living in the frequency of unconditional self-love, the outer world begins to mirror that.
The people you meet will resonate with that vibration.
Your cycles will arrive with a new narrative.
One that matches your evolution.

The Trap of Endless Healing
It’s easy to get caught in spiritual fear.
To think that healing is endless.
To brace ourselves for the next Mercury retrograde or Saturn transit as if it’s punishment.
Yes, healing is intense. It isn’t a quick fix. But it also isn’t forever heavy. At some point, the shadow work gives way to light.
If you’ve embodied your lessons, you don’t need to re-live them. You don’t need to circle back and prove yourself again and again. That’s when cycles truly evolve into spirals: when you’ve honoured the shadow so fully that you’ve cleared space for something brighter.
That’s what ascension is. Not perfection. Not passing a cosmic exam. But allowing new cycles to carry new stories, instead of rehashing old ones.
And if you pause long enough, you’ll see: you have changed. You’re not who you were in the last spiral. Healing doesn’t just strip — it transforms.

✨ Reflection for you:
Where are you in your cycles right now?
Are you clearing, planting, or harvesting?
And if a new one is forming — what new story is it asking you to embody?
